Favourite Rice Dishes

the dish rage whipped up was inspiring. what are some other rice dishes you guys eat that are yummy?

i'm getting tired of the same steamed rice, soy sauce, co-op chicken breast plate.

Steamed rice, can of fried dace w/ black beans in oil and nuoc mam

Steamed rice, lemon grass grilled pork chop, spring rolls, omelette and nuoc mam

Sometimes just a bowl of plain steamed rice with a teaspoon of butter/margarine mixed with soy sauce. If I'm feeling extra energetic, I'll brown some ground beef throw in some cooked green peas and mix in an egg.

+1 for the can of deep fried dace and black bean.:drool:

I used to put grape juice or coke in the rice cooker instead of water.

when I get left home alone as a kid, and there's nothing in the fridge... this one time I just diced up some tomatos, green peppers, sandwich pepperoni, diced onions, and a sprinkle of cheese all over the rice, mixed it up, stick it in the microwave and called it pizza rice.

One of my favourite rice things is...

2 1/4 or 2 1/2 of rice already cooked.
1 lb of hamburger-- cooked
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup mixed with 2 soup cans of water.

Mix all that stuff up in a casserole dish. crumble up a bunch of soda crackers and mix all together. put in the oven for around 20 mins at 350. while that's in cook uip some stove top stuffing and at around the 15 min mark take it out mix in the stove top and grate cheese all on top. Then back in oven till the cheese is melted.

fry an egg and some sausage or spam dont matter ... and then make some fried rice using the oil and all the flavours from the egg and sausage/spam/w.e ...mmmmmmmmm ./... get some ketchup and good to go! hahah:thumbsup:

green peppeer or whatever veggie you want really, I usually add mushroom since the can only has small little pieces. Sautee veggies

2 cans of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of water and 1/2 can of milk. Portion of water and milk can vary depending on how thick you want it. heat it up like you would jus normal campbell soup. Add in chicken and and veggies
Add spice as you look

Just pour over steamed rice.

Alternate is you can bake it with cheese on top as well

I've actually made this before and it tastes not bad but MAKE SURE, your using Campbells Mushroom Soup, not the cheap concentrated shit, cause after all the baking it'll end up tasting SALTY as shit...so be careful with seasoning...but for this recipe you can use almost any kind of meat, pork, beef might work, hell even some fish will work, halibut, snapper or any firm white fleshed fish

As opposed to Margerine or any other subsitues / greases / no stick stuff... Fry some standard white mushrooms into it for more taste explosion. lol.
