If you mean a real HID system, you're probably looking at around $1000 CDN? Somewhere around that figure. As for ease of installation, I have no idea, but I believe there is a transformer box you need to put somewhere in the engine bay? :dunno:

Don't do it if your headlights weren't designed for HID. HIDs in halogen housings will create so much glare, enough to be a hazard to oncoming traffic. Drivers will get pissed off at you and flash their brights no matter how you aim them.

Also, you will lose your Hi-Beam on your EL as it uses an H4 bulb.

I bought a kit from the group buy center. $700 CDN. Should be less now that the Canadian dollar has gone up.

I beleive my dad's TL came stock with Xenon HiD's and they are awesome. But ya, if your headlights were not designed for them then definately dont go putting HID's in there because it is really hard on other drivers and their eyes.

HID's are worth every penny...projectors are the only way to go for HIDS...reflectors with HIDs IMHO are a bad idea..
