just wanted to see if i could get some help and suggestions from the rotary guys on beyond, i have a 1992 mazda rx7 and the problem is that under load as soon as it sees any boost it will backfire and hesitate immediately. when there is no load i can free rev it without any issues, its just when you are driving and in gear it does it. i have done new plugs, double check the wires making sure they are not mixed up, tried a new check valve going to the boost sensor, putting in fresh gas, and still nothing:banghead: i have done tons of research and this seems to be a common issue among other rotary mazdas but i cant seem to find the proper info in diagnosing this problem. so if any one can give me some tips or any rotaries guys that are willing to take a look and fix it i am willing to pay for that as i do not have too much knowledge with rotaries, thanks in advance

Did you ever get this figured out ? If so, what was the problem ?

FSM calls for the battery to be disconnected and the brake to be held down for 15seconds.

holding the brake pedal will just drain any remaining juice out of the system for the tail lights..thus resetting the computer
