i got one in the mail and from what i can understand its saying i didnt pay my business taxxes? is this right? because i did, the money was withdrawn from my account, and the cheque was written to the "receivers general"?

Nothing tacked on at all, the exact same amount i already paid.

login to your bank account online and print out a statement that shows that you paid, fax it to them and call them to explain it?

I had the same thing with my personal taxes, so I call them and ask WTF?
No worries she said, its some kind of glitch at their end.
Give em a call anyhow to be sure but its probably nothing.

I recommend sending them teh receipts with a picture of you flipping them the bird at the bottom of the stack
