Would you let a magazine do a write up on your car?

I know a couple of Beyond members who have had their rides in magazines. Ive heard that facts and stories are made up to make the articles more interesting. Would you ever let a magazine do a feature on your car? Personally I think car shows are kinda gay and that the nicest cars there are either shop endorsed(which isnt a bad thing) or can be found at secret street and track days. Im sort of for magazine coverage if its the right mag

Depends on the subject. Definitely don't want them to thrash my car for a performance shootout story.

i would do it....
there is always that awesome feeling you get when you know all the hard work you put into it is paying off not only performance wise, but when somebody compliments your car....plus its sort of like an achievement, since most magazines now don't just put in cars with the regular mods. There has to be something that stands out about it.

there will always be haters, but i would just ignore them anyways.

yeah i would, it would be kinda nice to get some recognition for hard work and stuff.i just think it would be an honor to have somebody offer to put my ride in a magazine. i agree with redlyne on the show issue . they are kind of hurt but i go hoping that a magazine will spot my car and run it sometime.... From what I've gathered I hear Performance Auto and Sound is a pretty shoddy magazine run by alot of retards. HAHA. I guess that what happens when things are Canadian run and made.

But really I'd love to have my car in a mag. Its like that final achievment when you know everything you've done from day one has paid off. It's kinda like your part of that elite group of tunners that have that nack for style and performance to make something thats the envy of others. Cause really, thats what alot of the cars in magazines are, the envy of what you want your car to be in some way or another. Just me 5cents

A friend of mine had his custom show E500 in Benzo, a Mercedes-Benz tuner and lifestyle mag. The write up was dead on accurate and showcased the car beautifully. I would definitely put my car in a mag if approached, but I wouldn't be so naive as to ask to edit the final proof, it would never happen. ;)

My Car was in pas mag. and my hubby's car (nosoup4u) was in the modified mag as one of their feature car. Doing the photo shoot was so fun.
Its neat seeing your own car in a magazine.

Pasmag is trash, all their articles are made up or embelled, superstreet did a good job with WBB6's car as did Modified with nosoup4u's Supra
