1994 Geo Metro 4 cyl manual
- ~ 250,000 kms
- Needs front left CV joint ($275 installed per Midas)
- Needs windshield ($220 installed Crackmasters)
- Brakes need fluid & probably bled
- Dent in back right from from accident (aka the truck that rear ended me, but tail light is still good and we kinda hammered out the dents)
- Trunk latch is broke ... so I bolted it shut - we fixed the latch a few times, then it pissed me off
- I think one of the tailights needs a new bulb or to have the wiring reconnected?
- Some rust, we cleaned a bunch of it and threw some rust prohibitor on it ... then never finished painting it
- Front tires are really good (M&S, Potenza's I think) and back ones are also good
- Most parts can be found at the wreckers for cheap - engine is the same as the Sprint and Swift
- The one weird issue was in the winter when it was below -15 it would bog down - seemed to be too much fuel, but none of the solutions worked and it could be many things - the one that that did work was to drive it for about 15 minutes, shut it off for a bit (maybe 5 minutes) then it would run fine
- Few other minor items, but it's a Geo, dont expect much!!
- around 40mpg
- Car is in Camrose AB
- My suggestion is for parts, but it could be fixed up and driven still - just needs work to pass inspection.
- To pick up you will need something to pull or haul it with since the CV joint is broke
