Salvage EG worth it for 5 bills?

I've recently found a deal for a eg hatch that has salvage status and was wondering how picky inspectors can be? and if it will also need a mechanical inspection?

As of right now it needs a new hood and bumper cover and may/may not need to get the rad support fixed depending on how it was fixed. The side mouldings are also cracked? and may also need replacing. would i need the hood and bumper to have color matched paint for it to pass inspection? and what other things would an inspector look for? would rust pass or not? will they check the shocks/struts? tires? exhaust? etc.

any input would be greatly appreciated :D

They are really strict with salvage inspections. They check lights, brakes, all suspension, i believe u have to have pics of the car before u fixed it as well, its been a while since I did a safety inspecton, almost failed it cuz of a quarter sized hole in my tail light, but i had convinced the guy i had a new one at home but didnt get time to install it


its like 300 bucks for the inspection btw
