Never seen this car before but i saw it today.
Apparently produces 80hp and were produced from 1962-1966. Wikipedia said that it is one of bmw's greater cars. What do you guys think, i thought it looked kinda funky

I'd buy a 2002 ti in a heartbeat... It's the grandfather of the M series....

if i ever came into some coin, i would import a fleet of tii turbo's for track cars

aside from the e30m3, 2002 tii's would be my second fav bimmers

2002s are enthusiast cars from the 60s...

Great cars that started the 3-series sports coupe line. I think the Tii's had 130HP, probably really peppy in a car of that size and during that time.

I saw an Alpina 2002ti parked in front of my old building last summer. I wouldn't have known except a friend who is a Bimmerhead spotted it. Pretty neat.

The 2002 as pictured was made from 1968 to 1976. The one you have pictured there is an early car ('68-72) becasue of the round combined tail and signal lights.

It would have had about 100 hp which gave actually pretty decent performance due to its low weight.

I had one for a brief period of time, a long time ago. a pretty little '72.

They were fun to drive and had some commonalities with early Porsche 911's; funky bottom hinged pedals, swing axle IRS, and a predisposition towards snap oversteer if you let off the gas in a curve. Brakes were front disc and rear drum in an age where front discs were not yet a guarantee even on some sporting cars.

I do wish I had been able to keep that car...

I saw that green one around downtown yesterday, pulling into the husky on 8th st sw.

love those cars, and if you read roundel (bmw mag) there is a warehouse in california that specializes in just 2002s ;)

if I had the extra coin I would love to do a restore on one of these cars, great for tooling around the city

My dad has one, it's currently going in for a full off restoration, but they are great little cars. 1972 2002tii. Fucking fantastic. Tons of fun to drive as well.

2. I don't own, nor have I ever owned, a Celica. Why do you keep insisting that I do? Are you going to start accusing me of being a nutritionist again?

3. Why would you bump an old thread just make yourself look stupid, yet again?

Little sperm sucker;
I didn't classify it as an M3, at the end of the day, its a cleanly modded BMW 323is.
You drive a POS because it suits you, the owner, as you are a piece of shit. Perfect match.
What have you been doing in school? Last time we talked, you told me examining the semen of men was getting dull...

What have you been doing in school? Last time we talked, you told me examining the semen of men was getting dull... At the end of the day, you have a raggity high mileage 323 you're trying to floss like an M3. Your car has nothing to support the plastic M3 badge you bought at a mall stand for $12.

I drive a pos? You don't even know I drive. (Hint, it's not a Celica, don't worry, you'll get it one day) What do I take in school? You've been saying nutrition all this time haven't you?

Hey man, why are you so angry? Don't you feel dumb for bumping an old thread just to learn you jumped into an inside joke you weren't a part of? Your car would have seemed a lot more legit if you had just kept your mouth shut. Why would you be douchebag out the of the blue? Now look at what you've gone and done. Your for sale thread has been shit all over. Why would you do something like that?

again, a mint 323 is still 300 times than your 86 Corolla or Celica. I feel for you, it must be tough to admit to the beyond community that you are a homosexual. But nutritional studies of semen is pretty degrading. Stop messaging me please about a possible sample from me. I'm not interested.

My sale thread is fine, but the worst part is that you look like a fool. But for GTS Jeff, thats the usual. You're a cocky, arrogant bitch.

Since when does mint mean cheapass knockoff wheels and 225,000km? And you're still going on about a Celica? Geeeez when will you learn? BTW I don't drive a Corolla either.

I don't think you can walk around calling people fools when you're the one who walked right into an inside joke you weren't a part of.

But keep going with the whole semen insult thing, it makes you look smart.
