Just wondering what could be the cause of this low idle problem. anyone have any suggestions?

Idle air controller needs cleaning? Vacuum leak/boost leak?


what is it idling at, and does it wonder around? surge?

its ideling at like 600-700 rpm its not surging or anything just really low? but it runs like a dream its weird

well, the auxiliary air control valve may have gone out of adjustment. If you have a manual, try to find it in there. The AAC will have an adjustment screw on it. If you adjust it out, youll go higher in idle. try for 800 rpm.

IIRC idle speed should be 750 +/- 50 so your not far off.
