21st Century Auto sales?

In Calgary, has anyone heard anything good/bad about them? What is up with these guys? Why are their prices so ridiculously high? I guess they're trying to lure in some suckers. Just saw a few ads with sports cars they're selling, but they don't seem to be anything that special to justify the expense. They always seem to have 300Z, MR2, Stealths, DSM,etc in stock.

On the freebie used car listing mags, they list a MR Spyder for sale for $40+K. How are they able to get one here? Or is it up to you to find a way to register it?

ya the old guy said it had like 450+ hp but he didnt no what kinda mods it had and nothing to back up that 450 hp

Hey did you have a silver TT one? with 18 inch fittipaldi argus? and a knightrider kit, and had an orange decal "TRUST" in it?
If so, My sister owned that, used to be an edmonton car and she sold it to a brown guy.....

Ya, I know the owner, Harry. There not really that shaddy he just goes for all the money and he will sit on a vehicle untill a sucker comes along and pays. I actually got my integra from him. If you don't know him I wouldn't count on getting a very good deal!!!

I kinda got the shady vibe from them...... Harry seems like a nice guy but I think he tried to screw me over on the inspection for my old legend.

HE took it to TandT and I swear that he phoned the mechainc and told him to find everything possibley wrong with the car. I was told the car had oil leaks, tranny leaks, diff leaks, bad alternator, bad suspension, bad everything..... and then he wanted to go on consignment with it...

I said f that and sold it privately to a couple for what I wanted.

I will have to say they do have nice cars that go through there though.... however I was a bit mistified by the old skool 500hp supra. :dunno:

My friend bought a RAV4 from them and it is slightly more expensive than those at the dealership

That 500+ hp supra has been for sale for the last year. It went from 25000.00 i think down to 19. Nice car tho. Not worth 12000 IMO.

I heard that from some dealership and said that 21 century auto shop is bad and also has bad record since the owner worked in toyota a really long time ago and he cheated money from dealership and hide in America and back to Calgary may be couple yrs ago and start his own business and someone told me beware of that autoshop since if you sell your car to them or buy from them, really careful about the document and where the money go to........my friend tried to sell his predule sh before and they try to sell it without telling my friend.......so bad experience...

well... i test drove a yellow MR2 turbo that they had there for the longest time.... it ended up at ZR auto...

When i talked to Daryl (the big mid/late 20's guy) he wanted 19K for the car... it was used for AutoX (came complete with harnesses/rollcage and more boost...)

When i spoke to him a few months later he told me that he had bought the car for 9500... so yeah... almost 10K in markup!!!!!

No. It really did get 6 coats of red paint when it was repainted. The reason, red is a color that fades faster than any other color, so 6 coats would make it last longer. Likewise if you got a door dent or something, it would be harder to get a scratch that went all the way down to the bare metal.
