Anyone work for Fortis downtown??

I am thinking of coming back to town as I got offered a position as a design technologist/specialist with them.

I currently work for Hydro in Vernon so I know the job but am wondering what FortisAB would be like, FortisBC seems like a sweet outfit

I knew some HR people there a few years back. Seemed like a great place to work.

What the corporate mentality is like, how the union is (in Hydro we are overrun with union fighting with management bullsh*t) how the people are, just general feel overall.

Would you go back?

i was the electrical intern 2 years ago there for 8 months. hustler, are you working in the distribution planning department?

Just a summer student there but the best place i've ever worked. Most people are nice and always willing to help if you have questions. don't know much about the union but haven't heard much bitching about it.
