So one of my fog lights was burnt out and the previous owner supplied me with the bulbs to replace both (so that they would obviously match). Now here comes the weird part, once installed (all done properly) one looks way darker then the other one even though both have new matching bulbs in them. So I took it to a shop and they said that the reflectors on the one was more rusted out then the other one there for not sending as much light. :S Is that even possible? Any ideas?

No that is not possible, because our reflectors are plastic with a chrome like finish. Do you have the jdm yellow fogs? Does one appear darker or does one appear more yellow than the other? Is it the passenger side that is dimmer?

see thats what i thought. yes they are the jdm yellow lights. the passenger side fog is the one that seems to be alot darker while the driver side (rhd) is brighter and clearer it seems.

That is just the way the yellow capsules are designed. Mine are the same way although alot less noticeable since I have hids in them.

are you sure? like if i could take some pictures to show you i would, but its kind of hard to take pictures of light differences. like they are pretty drastically different. maybe next time I see you you can tell me what you think.

Check the grounds for each fog lamp.

There should be a ground somewhere. All electrical devices on a car ground at some point. either a straight ground or a ground side switch. Try and find a wiring diagram for the foglights.
