recently found a seller for a 2000 si (can't remember exactly, but i think includes power locks/win moonroof), and wondering if im getting a reasonable price for what im getting. body looks to be in good condition with about 30k km on it. buyer wants 10k for it.

opinions on this? thanks alot.

Deal! If it's just 30k and not written off or flooded or anything. Steal of a deal at $10k. Just look at those rat finks selling early-mid 90's civics for like ~7k w/ WAY higher kms ;)

The price of this car makes it suspicious but if there are no problems then this is a steal.

sorry to bump this up again, but just need to know what i should do now...

so i met up with the guy and the car seems to be in good condition, nice and clean, no obvious damage, but now he is saying it actually has 60 000 km on it and wants about $12000 -13000 for it...still seems somewhat reasonable but still..something in me says :/

just need a few opinions, thanks.

first he told you that it had 30 000 kms on it and now he changes that to 60 000kms? how can you mix up those numbers like that? i'd understand if it was more like 35 000 kms cuz he might have droven it around and added clicks to it...
seems sketchy.

Sounds like a bait and switch honestly, he's making all kinds of claims to get you out there to look at it and then telling you what he actually wants. I don't think you could trust him to tell you the truth about anything that might be wrong with it. If you do go ahead with it, refuse the sale if you can't get it inspected by a mechanic of your choice first. A title search might be a very valuable move as well.
