Since Alberta doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about the environment, do you guys have laws here that prevent us from just throwing our old tires into the dumpster?

That's a baaaaaad thing.
You can drop off up to 5 tires free of charge at any landfill or make friends with somebody at a tire shop and throw them in their bin. The tire shop way is easier.

Do like everyone else does and just throw them in front of a shop, at least that's what happens to us all the time at ours.
