I was just wondering if i would be able to get a car from a dealership with the payments all under my name. but have the car registered and insured under my moms name.

Bill of sale / registration / insurance must all match. For financing to be in your name, bill of sale is in your name.

If you can't afford the insurance you have no business buying a new car, regardless of what the salesman is telling you.

Sounds like insurance fraud.

Are you going to be listed as secondary or occasional driver or not at all?

no you can't. Your mother has no financial interest in the vehicle. If the vehicle is leased/financed they wont let you take it off the lot.

it is possible, all that you need to do is put your mom on the lease as a co-applicant, and then she can register/insure it for you!

hope that helps

your mom will need to be somewhere on the vehicle. then she can insure you as a primary driver under her name
