Last night on northbound 14th Street SW just North of Anderson I saw an M3 and 360 (both black/dark) pulled for racing.

Two things came to mind:
1. That cop is a stud for managing to grab both of them.
2. The Ferrari owner in particular should have an awesome insurance bill come renewal time (Speeding, Stunting and maybe Reckless).

Honest, only cockless cowards race on crowded streets. If you can afford a car like that, you can afford track time.

hmm how did he do it? chase both and both cars stopped? or chase one down and after writing up ticket, go after the next?

i dont think either driver would speed away from a police officer...

one call on the walkie talkie and everyone is looking for a "insert colour" "360" heading "insert direction" on "insert street"

yeah plus maybe the owners know each other, so why would you run away only to get another charge from the police.

Or... maybe when you own a 360 you don't give a shit about a $300 ticket or your insurance going up.

they must have been pretty decent people if they both pulled over. like seriously what is the cop going to do if only one pulls over? either pull over as well or go after the guy running and let the guy who pulled over off.

why would you run over a ticket? IT would never be worth it.

Yeah, I'd rather a ticket than jail time for evading arrest.

It's actually not stopping for a peace officer or something, and it's a registered owners ticket... no points! Not that I would condone it...

LOL, not that I would run from the cops, but I know people who have, and it isn't all that hard. A little more difficult if you drive an exotic, but without plates they can't prove it was you anyway.

Good on the guys for pulling over.

For them street racing, if they were. :thumbsdow

haha wasn't me... I take my action to the track. I get picked on to race on a daily basis, lots of cars with beyond stickers want me to race them, but it ain't gonna happen lol.

I've done my share of street racing when I was young and stupid, now I'm old and smart haha.

I just saw a post that the Ferrari was driven by a Beyond member. It was removed very quickly.

I saw a younger guy in an M3 and an older dude in a new 330i pulled over in the Rocky Ridge CO-OP parking lot by RCMP. All signs point to them getting snagged racing on Crowchild. What was old dude in the 330 thinking?

Cops use their speaker system (loud). They will come up on one and yell at both to pull over.

... not that I would know or anything. :dunno:

are cops suppose to give a ticket immediately after they pull over someone, or can they wait till get 2-3 cars before handling out tickets all at once?

I've seen cops at speed-traps pull over 5-7cars before bothering to write the tickets.
