They figured it out a while ago.

A box that weighs 25lbs sure isnt gonna be 20 dollars worth, unless its a bunch of paper.

Your best bet is to use USPS next time to avoid the ass rape from UPS.

84 lbs each box? Also just a question did these come straight from the states or did they stop somewhere else in Canada and then come here?

So straight from the states? No stops? Hopefully customs doesn't choose it.

Tell the shipper not to lie next time...

for my 4 wheels I had to pay $121 which all came all at once in 2 big boxes. But the prices were marked a lot less than market value.

If you wanna ship UPS use their more exspensive services rather then "standard" and they cover the brokerage fee.

Sounds about right. They charged me $124 for 2 tires...they weren't even boxed!

Yeah i bought a pair of bindings and the guy valued it as 120usd and when it got dropped off i paid $8.31GST, $39.30brokerage and $2.35brokerage GST. I was pretty choked.

Anyways go to http://www.classaction.ca/content/actions/ups.asp and put yourself on the list for the class lawsuit. Keep all your records.

If the 2 boxes were shipped as 1 shipment then you should only have to pay the brokerage fee once since they only cleared one shipment through customs. The UPS label will say either 1 of 1 or 1 of 2 on it. If it says it is a 2 piece shipment you shouldn't be paying brokerage twice.

I specifically ask the sellers not to use UPS. I once had some wheels shipped and they charged me $200 + on "Brockerage Fees".

UPS isn't retarded. If they see a box with brand new rims inside they know they aren't being given away for 20 bucks.

You never know. Could have been an auction and you got them for that cheap. And I dont think they should be estimating how much shit costs, thats not their job.
