This is still car related so I thought it could go in this section, didn't really fit anywhere else.

Does anyone do any RC racing or just into the RC hobby world scene?

I've been looking into RC drift lately and it looks really fun especially if there were more people to have drift events with.

Companies to look for for drift cars ready to run.

HPI
Yokomo
Tamiya
etc...

Look to spend $250+ for a good set-up.
A good website for purchasing is Tower Hobbies otherwise PM Hobby Craft in Calgary should be OK.

I found a wicked RC Car forum called DRC Central - tons of info for those just getting into the RC world.

Check YouTube and Google video for some cool clips if you're not totally convinced! hehe.

I've been putting it off for a while now because money is kinda tight but it's a cool hobby nonetheless.

There is a canadian company that sells rc stuff in canada, so you don't have to order from tower hobbies. Its called Great hobbies, they have a store in Edmonton and PEI. They're website is www.greathobbies.com. They have a great selection of product and this should help you in getting into the rc hobby, electric or nitro.
