Blackberry question..

I recently quit bell because of shoddy service. There is nothing left owing on the account and it's shut comepletely. I miss having a blackberry for texting and stuff..

Can I use it with rogers now instead? Does it need to be unlocked or what?

I believe only the Blackberry 8830 will work on a CDMA + GSM network, since it's the "world phone"

Bell phones are on CDMA which are never useable on Rogers / Fido (GSM).. So you would not be able to unlock a bell phone and use it on Rogers.
