95-98 Eagle Talon (ESI-TSI)
94-98 Acura Integra (GS-GSR)
2000+ Honda Civic SIR
1999+ Mazda Miata

This is what I am looking at for my future ride... I am looking for easy, but clean aftermarket modifications... for the hondas I would be looking at JDM parts...
What would you guys go for?:burnout:

Miata's look pretty sweet if you buy a hardtop for it!

Personally I'd go for a TSI though.

Other than the 2 honda models that I have picked out... what is the reliability and repair cost like, associated with the Miata and TSI?

These aren't exactly on my list of choices... 200sx.. NO THANKS, 300 ZX can't afford, and RX7 1st gen no thanks, 2nd gen can't afford....

2nd Gen. RX-7's are cheaper than any other car you listed.

You could find a nice 300ZX (93+) for your price range, looking at the other cars you listed. They aren't that expensive compared to the list above.

Yea I was thinking 3rd gens rx-7's... my bad... :banghead:

and if i was to get a 300zx i would want a TT, and that bumps the price... plus I have heard they are pricey to fix...

first gen 300zx turbos arent that expensive, same goes with the first and second gen rx7's.

you could probably get a turbo 2 for 2 to 3 grand

I am not exactly looking for "aged" cars... I have gone thru enuf money and stress with older cars... looking for something with low km's, and something with some good solid style...

Let's play a game. Let's try and help him out with the cars that he actually WANTS.

I'd go with the Miata or GS-R. Both are pretty good cars.

Talon Tsi. Responds very well to mods, lots of power stock, not an over-inflated honda HP figure. Good all year round car too. Your wish for clean, easy aftermarket mods will be satisfied with this car

If this is gonna be just a fun summer toy though, the miata is a really fun little car. Real light, handles awesome. Less aftermarket for this car though.

HHmm that's a tough one. It's a toss up between the GS-R and Talon. If you decide on the Talon though, I'd recommend an awd 1g (92-94). I used to own a 94 GSR and it was the most fun and reliable car I've ever owned. Then again I only lightly modded it but damn I miss that car. Ask yourself what your ultimate goals are before making a final decision. Do you want a nice, reliable daily driver, something you can tune for some serious hp, or a bit of both?

Miata or the GSR.
