Dude see my post- you CAN get your passport in time. Get your but to the passport office and get someone notarized to sign it. Next, all you need is a reason. Usually this means someone with a letterhead, a signature and phone number willing to verify that you need to go out of town.

I am having my car shipped on wednesday in California, being shipped to Sweetgrass for saturday. I'll let you know how it goes.

I also just did my passport, and it took 10 days to get back to me. So depending on your time frame.
