wait, so if it's chipped the engine in it is older than the car? post 96 e36's were all obd-2 and could not be chipped only reflashed i thought?

nope, i believe its a newer 98 M52B25 engine which has Dinan Performance software on it.

I'm open to offers on it, but it has over $3600 in parts just put into it, including reciepts. Come take a look at it if you would like and you'll see how mint this car is. :) This car can run Maintenance free until next spring, it drives like a dream.

I did some preventative maintenance on it sir. I replaced the waterpump and assembly, radiator, fan blade, clutch fan, brakes, all belts, windshield etc etc so that way the car would run good for the winter. But I decided to sell it and buy a beater :( . Please message me your comments on the car :thumbsup:

I just have a question, is that a dent on the hood ? Or has that been fixed .. ? I was also curious to the passenger side door, it could be the picture but is there a dent on the lower panel also ?

there's no dents at all whatsoever on the car. I think the light may make it appear as if there is a dent or something, because there is none.

umm ok, the new pictures still show the exact same knockoff M5 wheels as in the old pictures, but you said the car actually has real M3 wheels now. Can you please just give me a definite answer so i can decide on your car?

the actual M3 wheels have been sold as of 3 days ago. All 4 were sold so I could keep these nice aftermarket wheels, which retail for $480 a rim without a tire, I have the reciept even. They look really really good on the car.
These mirrors are M3 mirrors, or so I was told, when I bought the car. If not, they are stock? The mirrors are tinted/and have a wind/rain guard on them.

Clean car, but actually what is that on the hood? I might be a lazy mechanic (barely passed 3rd year), I might be a failed bodyman (didn't like all the dust always in shop), but I'd THINK I can call myself a dent guy.

Based on the photos, and the reflections at which the panel is distorting the light-shade, it's an outward dent; caused by either someone leaving a tool or something and slamming the hood... OR if you or the previous owner(s) (since you said you bought it from someone else) had so-called Paintless Dent Repair done, the dent guy didn't level out the panel properly (easier just to crank up on the dent and leave it), or the guy/gal was trying to reach a dent where the braces are and they tried to shove a bigger tool than they should under the braces causing this huge bulge; it looks bigger than Michael Jackson's pants walking around Disneyworld.

Side note: See what happens when you don't get PDR fixed properly? (assuming it's PDR)

Anyways, would you please be able to take more photos of the hood please?

Also, is price or WILL the price be adjusted to the authentic M3 rims being sold? And this new hood panel flaw?
