BMW oil change?

Hey guys my friend bought a BMW 318 e36 and it needs an oil change. Is the process the same as Hondas, drain plug at the bottom etc?

Pretty much, except the filter is a cartridge on the top, the plug is hollow and snaps if you don't use the right torque, and you need to replace the crush ring on the plug.

Get yourself a Haynes or Bentley manual, you'll need them no matter what you do :)
