Edmonton Nightclubs

Just wondering what are some good nightclubs to go to in edmonton on a saturday that play Hip-hop/ R&B ?

I've done a search on beyond and only found old threads and since then fever and rum jungle have closed down from what i've heard.

Fever got closed... I personally like the "Bank" its pretty sweet ass lol! Just make sure you dont go to Cboys or Roadhouse , they both suck in edmonton :rofl:

I went to Rum Jungle after DTP. I don't know much about Edmonton, but i'm assuming thats about as good as it gets for Hip Hop shit

Rum Jungle is no longer. Something new now.

Heard good things about Touch in the new casino.

I hear the bank is where it's at on fridays, and Rum Jungle is gonna be Empire now or something

The Bank is supposed to be a lot like Touch. I've heard good things about both... how about I tell you after Saturday lol.

I saw a performance at the Standard a year or two back. I was impressed with the club.

Just went to opening weekend for Empire (The old Rum Jungle). It's a pretty nice spot. It's like a smaller, slightly more pretentious version of the old Palace. They are the closest I've seen (in Alberta, anyways) any club that tries to emulate the higher-end nightclubs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas with VIP, and table/bottle service.

It was a nice club though. Good music and good looking girls (for Edmonton, haha). My only issue was the bartenders kept short-pouring everyone (not just us, we watched).

I love the Bank on most nights, Wednesday is the night to go for sure, Ladies Night. I found it to be a Mynt concept but much less pretencious.

I went to Touch (note, Very far from central Edmonton, on the Indian Reserve), Nice spot, but the crowd when I went last Saturday was kind of bunk. Its a very long line if you don't get there early or have VIP and junk.

Never been to OCR. I heard it was an okay time though.

As far as Thursday goes I heard the Bank was good on Thursday.
