I posted one of these 2 months ago... well, prices keep dropping, so I keep building new ones... its free to dream!

What would you change? I was thinking of adding a Raptor or Cheetah HD.... thats another $150. And I think the PSU is strong enough...

You should get a 10,000 RPM HD , muchhh better :thumbsup:

IMO, 10K HDDs overheat way too easily. If you want speed, go for RAID. You get a good increase of speed and space.

The 19" monitor is $20 cheaper at Memory Express (http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=9446&SID=).

Also, since the maximum resolution is only 1440x900, you could get the 320MB version of the 8800 GTS, as the only difference between the 320MB version and the 640MB version is the amount of GDDR3 included. The 320MB version can easily handle current games at that resolution with practically everything maxed out. You'll just need to start worrying if you want to go 1920x1200 with AA.
