Does this actually work? Anyone tried it?

word it does. Just no Motorola's, hp's, palm. I guess the new version will have those phones updated. Google Crux Calc if you want to read about the program more. Most cell unlockers use this program and you pay for it.

I might mention that it doesn't support the phone that I'm presently trying to unlock, Sony Ericsson K790i from Rogers. The only sony ericssons it supports are the CMD-CD5 and the CMD-C1, damnit all!

Really? Damnit, I had an old K700i, I wanted to unlock. That's the only phone I have that needs unlocking, no point downloading if the software doesn't support them.

Yea, this whole "unlock --MOST-- phones" thing is more like "unlock some old crappy phones that the vast majority of North American doesn't use anymore, but which are still flourishing since this program comes from Peuto-Rico where crappy phones still are used daily"

... but that just doesn't make for a good topic line, now does it?
