Just a reminder Car Fax is not as good as they say My salvage Civic came up clean. I think the best in canada is if you have AMA they offer what appears to be a really good check but you have to have a membership.

Its good if you are buying an american car, i was surprised with how much detail the last 2 american cars i had in the reports, I don't think its worth buying to check out a Canadian car

Uh, carfax searches the net for VIN numbers that have been run recently. If they find someone publicly posting for someone to check a VIN, they will close your account and threaten legal action for breaching their terms.
