yeah, that's the price range for a "TALON" turbo, sounds like a non-turbo 1.8 FWD............these don't go for that much, do they?

i got an offer for 4200 but then they guys dad was like no i am not lending u a grand u can bue a cheeper car but i dont know how much do u guys think its worth i dont want to get less the 4200 that is prob the lowest i think ill go

all depends on condition. Finding a 10-13 year old car in good clean shape is harder than you think. I've seen many Talon TSI list for $4000. Then you go to look at it and stare at a blown turbo and what seems to be a nice rusty paint scheme, worn tires and a timing belt that hasn’t been changed in the 300,000km that the car has lived. Oh and dont forget the regular oil changes at 15k intervals with Uncle Bucks 50W60 performance crude. I've looked around for many DSMs before i purchased mine and after 13 years these cars have usually been through a few owners already. Finding one is good shape is getting harder and harder.

Heh i know. I was just commenting on the crappy DSMs and why ones like yours are worth the extra money!
