When it comes to withdrawing from your RRSP in an income fashion(say monthly) does the government reduce the amount of Old age or Canada pension thats paid?

Assuming age 65 or older!

wow you really are old! HAHA!

I haven't done it yet, but I think that you pay CPP based on your pay not on your investments, but I am young so I dont know.

I think u misread...or else I'm not clear...
When you reach age 65 and start receiving Canada pension cheques, do they make deductions from those cheques if you are receiving monthly income from RRSP's???

Oh, sorry I did misunderstand.

I know with double dippers at my work they just fill out a form and CPP is not deducted because they are already receiving it.
