I'm considering 0w30 synthetic for cold weather starts.
Is it safe to use this in my RSX in place of the 5w20 it calls for?

It should be fine, its not too drastic of a change in oil viscousities.
Good for you for choosing AmsOil, its awesome stuff, just incredible. My cars and bike runs SO much cooler using it then even Mobil Synthetic, its just in a legue of its own

I use it in my Nomad...thought I may as well throw it into the car!

It should be good in the winter when it acts like a 0W. I have heard nothing but good reviews from people who run amsoil in there cars. It was rated number one a few years ago.

The one at 130 ave SE has it...I can't remember if they have it for diesel or not.
I have seen 5w30 and 0w30. I would not have noticed heavier weights!

The weights I mentioned are about $11 a liter.
