Canada Day Fireworks Photos

First time trying to photograph fireworks. Used the digital Fuji 3800Z on the tripod. Not too bad. I was rather dissapointed at the entire show, but some of the photos turned out pretty good.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I was using my Fuji Digital 3800Z. Used a number of different settings to see what would work the best. For the most part, manual mode - landscape setting with a small aperature seemed to work the best. Nightscene setting overexposed the shots. It was difficult to focus though, and since it was on a tripod, I couldn't spot focus on something else, then re-frame my shot. meh. :)
