Does anyone know how many people are able to be added to a wait list for a given class?

is says under the class descripton the max waitlist avialable, doesn't it? i dont know if it varies, but i was under a wait list that said max 7 recently.

it varies

some waitlist is 5.. some 10.. apparent some are 7 according to signature7... lol

and then some dont even have one..

I have another question....i was on a waitlist for this 300 option course, there was a max waitlist capacity of 6 and two were on the waitlist, (me and someone else)

i check today and it says the course is closed? what gives? anyone? :banghead:

I'm pretty sure that it just means the class spots are still full and all available wait-list spots are also full.

I looked right now, and it said waitlist capacty 6 and waitlist total 2....and it's giving me that blue square....:cry:

Hmm not 100% sure, whats the classes name and number?

You know what was simple? Infonet. If you want to get into a class you check it a couple days after classes start and thered be an opening. Simple. In conclusion: fuck peoplesoft.

Probably means that the class is closed and you didn't make it in because the Professor wasn't willing to open up to more spots for the class.

does it really matter if its 'closed' you're on the wait list so if spots open up thats yours. juts make sure that you dont have a class during wour waitlisted one. other wise you wont get in and the guy after you on the wait list will...

I believe it does matter if it the class is closed or not. I took Psyc 385 in the summer and was on the wait list on peoplesoft. The professor opened up the spots for people in the wait list then closed the course after letting a few of us in.
