jetta oil change

Do I need a lift to do an oil chagne on a jetta? I was told that I had to because the oil filter is realy hard to get at/remove without a lift. Is this true because I really wanna start doing my own oil changes uness its just not possible. Thanks for all the help

2.0? I dont see any reason why you couldn't just use a floor jack and stands?

Yea thats what my friends have been telling me but I didnt wanna listen, but thats good to hear maybe one of these days I will just jack it up and take a look

Make sure to use jack stands...
