Hey guys, just got a letter tonight from televisionpreview.com and did a little looking on it. If any of you have gotten or get a letter from televisionpreview.com inviting you to a supercool "television preview" on the 17th at the Sheraton, its a bait 'n switch scam (just toss their website, televisionpreview.com into google and follow any of the links other than theirs).
You will have the exciting chance to "preview" the 1990 pilot of The City and some other crap show. They are really there to survey you on the commercials. Will even call you a few days later to see what you remember about the commercials.
You won't be seeing any neat preview of Heroes or Bionic Woman or nothin :)

Agreed.

I should have done my research before falling into that load of crap. They actually held it at the Sheraton (I think it was) at the airport last year, and what a waste of time. The girl off 24... Audrey Raines or whatever... she was on one of those late '80s shows being on "previewed." I think I almost fell asleep. Then at the end, they make you do some retarded survey on what products you use most of... detergent, shampoo, and other household products. It's a waste of time.

What did you have to do to get in? If I gave my letter to a filthy, reaking, homeless guy, could he get in?

the letter comes with tickets.
it says if you can't go to give it to friends (wouldn't your friends love you), so, 'technically' he should be able to get in.
Course, Olympic Park is a fair distance from downtown.

Sweet. If I get one, I'm going to do that. Maybe I'll try replicating the tickets too, and hand them out to 50 bums, lol.

Haha, I just received the invitation today. I was gonna ask if anyone received the same thing too.

I was thinking that they might force me to watch porn all day. I guess there is no free meal.

And today I got one from Donald Trump!
With these two tickets I can go to a seminar to meet with 4 self-made multi-millionare experts!
That's right!
Not multi-millionaire's themselves, they are "self-made multi-millionaire experts" :) Can't out wordsmith me, no sir!

Really, if you're good enough to train people in how to become multi-millionaires......why haven't you done it yourself? :banghead:
oh...that's right, you are on your way, hosting seminars

This has been a great week! I hope I get a new one every day!
