I was looking at some roast beef deli meat today and it look as if part of it had a holographic look, like that blue/green/purple/pink rainbow look. Kind like when oil or gasoline hits black pavement or you see gasoline in a puddle. It was on the interior meat part not the outer 'skin' part.

It smelled okay so I ate it, tasted fine. What's up with the holographic look?

Isnt it a sign the meat is turning? (bad?)
