my buddy says those unmarked suburbans are part of the anti gang unit, but i can't say for certain. have heard him mention it multiple times tho as he is in constant contact with them with his job.

You mean Unmarked Excursions ;) and these constables are generally with K-9 or tactical (swat) style departments. This could have been a pursuit with a suicidal person, or as you mentioned even gang related. It would be good to hear what really went down.

I don't commit crimes so I don't know their position but I kind of understand not giving up. It would be tough to know you're going to jail for a long time and maybe those extra 30 minutes of freedom would be worth it?? I don't know.
