Unusual Encounter: Black Bear on 14st and Glenmore?

Yeah, I know I don't have pictures... (would you stop the car to take them! He was about 3 ft from my car)
But last night coming home around 10:45, I encountered a black bear crossing 14st just past the Rockyview on the turnoff to Glenmore E... So if anyone lives down there... be careful! I heard Hawks Helicopter out last night... assumed thats what it was looking for.

:) Crazy though. I didn't see any in town, but I did see 3 in Montana this weekend past. And when you encounter one on a motorcycle it gets a little more complicated.

The bear was caught and transported away from here...but there is another thread about this.....he even walked into some hospital ambulance bay....

I love the area, would suck to get mauled by a bear, but I've seen moose in the area, and deer weekly. :thumbsup:

I think it was on the news that there was a bear in glenmore 2 summers ago if I remember correctly. I wonder if it is the same one.
