Are the rates any highger on a car such as a 180sx compared to a 240?
Also while I've made the thread, if I did get a 180 and soemthing went wrong do 240 parts work?

Most parts from a 240sx do work on a 180sx. Brakes are different for sure, but you can swap 240sx brakes onto them in a pinch.
Engine parts are not transferrable from a 240sx to a 180sx.
body panels are all the same
dash componants are different because of the RHD
Call a few insurance companies and find out if they have some kind of surcharge for RHD cars....i doubt they do...but you never know.

Whats happening is a lot of insurance companies wont offer Section C on RHD vehicles, this is comprehensive (ex. hail, fire, theft, flood, etc)
Some companies in general wont accept them anymore (AMA will not accept any RHD vehicles)
I'm insured under "Allstate"
I pay the same for my 1990 Celica Gt-Four (Alltrac) as I did on my 1992 Toyota Celica GTS when with Wawanesa.
