My MR2 is still registered in ON and is in storage for the winter. I am not an ON resident, as I am still an AB resident (AB address and drivers license) as I am a full-time student. I want to bring the car back in April-ish and get it OOP'd and registered in AB.

Do I get temp registration in AB or ON to move it across the country? Insurance isn't a big deal- it's already got it.

If the vehicle is insured and registered in ON that you just have to drive it to AB and register it here.

The registration is not in my name. So we'll just say that it's not actually registered, since technically I can't drive it.

I need to know where I should get temp registration so that I CAN drive it to AB.

In-Transit permit from a local registery. Just show 'em proof of ownership and insurance.
