The guy was on Daily Planet last night as well. I think they said something about testing it this week for its efficiency. If its at 70 % or more it will be considered a viable source of energy. You can kiss Alberta's economy good bye in about 5 to 10 years.

That is really cool, I wonder if you can use that as an efficient way to release hydrogen for the new hydrogen cars coming out

Unfortunately it requires way more power to produce the wave energy to break down the water than combusting the water produces. Even the inventor admits that it's a long way off from being a viable energy source.
