All right with school and my other project car money has started to become an issue for me. In order for me to live comfortably again I will be needing to get rid of one of my cars and I just can not give up on the project car as it is something I always wanted to do so here it goes…up for sale is this 337 GTI. It is a limited production of the mk4 Volkswagen gti (same as 25th anniversary in Europe) with only 1500 ever produced and only 250 of them in Canada! The noticeable differences you will find in the 337 are red-stitching interior, recaro seats, red trimmed seatbelts, chrome interior trimmings, 6-speed transmission (some say it is out of an audit t but its not for sure), upgraded big brakes from an audit t, upgraded exhaust, 18” bbs wheels, upgraded suspension, OEM vortex body kit, along with some other minor details in the engine (i.e.: bigger MAF etc.)
it has 91km, maintained on a regular basis (oil change every 4k synthetic), water pump and timing belt has just recently been preformed at 90km, c/v boots changed . car is in very good condition, i've always kept it clean inside and out. The car is slightly modified (close to about 2k in extras) with modifications such as front mount intercooler, 3” cat-less down pipe (no cat= check engine light), cold air intake, turbo inlet tube (less restrictive than stock and allows to spool faster), eip short shifter, jvc exad kd-av single din dvd/mp3 player, 20th ae headlights, black painted grille.
Asking price is only $19000 OBO, looking in the auto trader you will notice this is the price of regular gti’s with more km’s and no modds. Anyone who is a true vw exhusiast will know what this car is and what it is worth. Even though i'm prepared to take a loss on this car because of my situation, i’m negotiable on the price as well
