Okay, I'm hoping someone here knows the answer to this. I'm headed out of country, and I'm taking my cell with me, as long distance is cheaper with my cell than using the land-lines. However, to dial long distance, I need to dial "+" before the country code, area code and phone #. Where the hell is the "+"!?!? From what I can tell, it's the "0" key. But is there any special settings I need to change on the phone for it to work? Or can I just dial and go?

cel long distance is crazy money you are better off with a land line if cost is a concern

Well, assuming you're on GSM so you won't be raped up the ass as badly by roaming charges and you'll have better coverage, to get the "+" you hold the "0" key until it becomes a + sign.

I'm with Rogers. We are going to Bermuda. I did the research on how to call, not thinking about it until now. Land-line calls are $5 a min. Cell calls are $3.50. We just want to keep in touch with the family, cause my mother is getting some important medical news next week, and we want to know what's up. Thanks all.

Easiest thing to do is to buy a local prepaid cell phone.
