So I've got a Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook and I know this is a crapshoot but has anyone else had this problem? I turn on my power and the caps lock indicator light flashes 8-10 times and then it shuts off. I talked to the Dell Technician and he said it was a problem with the motherboard and it'll cost $800 for them to replace it. At that price I might as well buy something new. My hard drive, RAM and CD drive are all working fine (tested on another inspiron). Thanks in advance.
