If you've seen my thread in general car/bike chat you will know that my rims/tires were stolen and car was lovingly placed on the ground.
As the quest for new wheels begins, I need to decide on 16 or 17 inch rims. Yes, 17's can look nice (would finally make me lower my car) but my biggest concern is wheel weight/traction issues.
Am I going to lose more traction going to the thinner sidewall of a 17? I already have a horrible time hooking up with all the low end torque I have.

Get some elegant TSW 17" rims. Something not as much sporty but more mature and bold. With your car color go for a hyper black finish.

My biggest concern is traction over the size!
The rim I am looking at is the motegi track lite in 16x7(12.5lbs) or 17x7(14lbs).

This one in the tsw line looks good as well.

I will need to order on monday/tuesday so keep suggestions coming please.

^^ ive heard good things about those rims.....look at black racing wheels too..for matte black .. theyre fairly cheap and light weight.. try tire rack for those rims u want or discount tire.. theyre pretty cheap on there
id also recommend 5zigen fn01r-c FORGED...theyre only 11 pounds each on the 16x7 i believe and theres a group buy on mr2oc in white for them for 960 shipped us! if u want that link let me know! otherwise good luck with the choice!
i just ordered a setof fn01r-c cast and theyre 16 pounds for the 17x7 rims.. check 5zigen cuz a bunch of colors got discontinued but itcomes in a nice aluminum/bronse, matte black, and gloss black with polished lip
ill show u the rims here

I've heard that forged wheels are easy to bend.
Anyone have an opinion on that? I thought they were stronger.
