Set-up a tent that's connected to your freezer and fridge section. Just like in the Simpsons. The funny thing is it actually works!! lol

Thats not a bad idea, all I need is a tent, wouldnt that kill my fridge since it would be constantly running plus it woudl thaw all my food:( ..as you can see I am desperate for answers , it is now 5:30 am

We had a couple of days like that in the old condo - just got used to it and used a big fan with window open. There were a few nights where we both had to go to as low a floor as possible (living room) and sleep there.

Get a portable air conditioner. Those new kind they sell at Home Depot, small exhaust goes into the window (it just goes between where the window opens and the wall so it's not ugly or noticable). They're some $500, and cool VERY nicely.

Take benedryl or another type of drowsy pill. Or if you have sleeping pills :)

My brother and his family live in Africa, they just sleep on the roof, gf says she used to do this in India too, seems like the way to go.

you could take a thin thin blanket, and soak it in cool water, and then like sqeeeze all the water out so that it is barely wet......then sleep with that and the fan on.

Haha, that'd be the worst possible hangover...

I go to university in Ontario, and waking up in 35C w/ humidity does nothing to help that morning after.

what about getting a towel wet and hanging it up in front of your fan on high speed??

my cousin does that and he lives in ontario, he says it blows almost ice cold.

or you could go have an ice cold bath and that would lower your body temp??? might work for a while anyways.

I came up with this for a friend of mine who used to live in an OLD house in TO with no AC: Night time - open window and have a fan blow air into the living space. Do the opposite for day - open window and blow air out. Worked wonders.

Oh yeah, at night, don't forget to keep one other window open somewhere else in the living space for good airflow. The cooler air comes in thru the fan at the window, but it needs a place to leave as well.

Its got to be used, you could barely pay for the condenser and evaporator alone for 1500.00, especially Lennox , its one of the more expensive ones...Maxt

OMG, we need a Lennox because it's more expensive!! Who gives a shit :dunno: An air conditioner is an air conditioner. No one wants it to be -55 degrees in the room, so you don't need some air conditioner for $3000. If it cools decently, then that's all you need.

Where did you pull that from...Your reading comprehension seems to need some honing...
Oh and buy the way, and air conditioner is not just an air conditioner, and yes I am an expert on air conditioning, and I have the papers to prove it...Maxt

I wouldnt bother arguing with Abom Maxt, he's an expert in everything: computers, cars, carnivals, and even air conditioners. Arguing with a genius like that can get you into alot of trouble:rolleyes:

If you have a girlfriend, go over there and hope she has a/c, if you don't have a girl, find one with a/c.

just do what Altezza said and i think you will be fine.
A/C will only make thing worse because after you get use to A/C, you can't live without it.
Don't think too much about the heat the less you thinking about it the cooler you will get!
