"On a personal note, P-F1 believes Alonso would do well at Ferrari... after all he already knows all about the car and how to set it up. "

haha thats hilarious...alonso is being a baby this year because he isnt getting any preferential treatment from mclaren with hamilton proving his abilities. so im kinda glad to see him leave as i am a mclaren fan leaving hamilton to prove his worth.

if this is true, then mclaren is kinda screwed next year.

ferrari will have kimi and alonso, while mclaren will have hamilton and..... de la rosa???

but who's to say alonso will work out at ferrari? he couldn't handle having hamilton as a teammate as alonso wasn't getting preferential treatment. I honestly doubt that he'll get preferential treatment at ferrari with kimi there.

that is true, who would ferrari's #1 be next year??? i think it'd be great if they battled it out, but then again alonso probably wouldn't respond too well to that.

i'm pretty sure this deal isn't going down, but it's possible, i just doubt it.

I think he didn't like being equal with a rookie, especially as a 2x wdc.

Kimi is an excellent and experienced driver and I would imagine that Alonso recognizes this. Maybe it won't be such a big problem?

Fuck, Alonso is such a cry baby. last time i checked Lewis was leading in points and he's not. Why does it matter that he's a rookie when he's better than you. I hope he leaves and Rosberg goes to Mclaren. 2 of the best young drivers in Mclaren

Williams has been saying that they basically have their hands around Rosbergs neck. I doubt he will be moving.

There has been talks that if Alonso returns to Renault, nelson piquet junior might go to Williams as a race driver. So it is possible. rosberg is under contact with Williams in 2008 tho, but if Alonso goes anywhere, expect dramatic changes in drivers lineup next year. For me, i dont give a shit where he goes, as long as he leaves..:drama: Rosberg would be the best replacement, but i wouldnt mind seeing Gary Paffett as a full time driver either.

I wholeheartedly agree. If you want to be the number one guy the show me the freaking results. Don't cry and say you're not getting preferential treatment because a younger more capable driver is leaving the championship. Do your talking on the track.

Unless Jean Todt retires from the F1 side of things, Alonso will not be driving for Ferrari. They had a falling out years ago. Not to mention Todt's son manages Massa, so giving Massa the boot (who had a more consistent year than Kimi) would make no sense.

Alonso will be going back to Renault. Flavio's the only one that would want someone that destructive on a team.

How is alonso's and ross brawn's relationship?

There's no chance Alonso ends up at Ferrari. Ferrari is even less likely (compared to Mclaren) to take on such a drama queen, let alone make him a #1. I think he'll end up back at Renault.
