Mx3 V6?

Yes, the V6 came stock... If I am right, it is a whopping 1.8 litres too. Nice cars though.

Haha. I thought it might actually be decent, 6 cylinders in that little box you would think it might be a little on the quick side. Didn't know they came with a 6 from the factory but it's so damn small it may as well be a 4, or from those power numbers a lawnmower engine. :rofl:

The Probe's V6 (sister car to the MX3) had 160 HP stock (if I remember correctly), strange that they decided not to use the same V6 in both cars? :dunno:

you can find a v6 model of that car for like 5 grand if you keep lookin with like 140,000 kms. i was obsessed with these cars cause i liked their size awhile ago. but yea i test drove the v6... no juice behind it.

IMO it just doesnt feel like the hp juices out enough for the v6. shoulda kept it a 4 cyl.

Probe and MX6 is pretty much a dirrect swap.

MX3 you have to make a bunch of modifications, but it's possible.

I think it will fit in a 626 as well but im not 100% sure. I think that's about it.

mx3 is pretty direct as well, only major problem is the IM, but the one off the stock motor will do

If you keep the v6 and turbocharge it you could rape a 4cyl... And the KL-ZE swap is very do-able. 200hp is pretty decent..

but your right, for a v6 it isn't all that great - but put a load on it, and you will never regret not having a 4cyl...

Very possible in an Mx-3. The 2.5L is in probe/626/mx-6. They're all off the same platform.

hey the jdm 2.5 v6 i the same engine i fits right in i have done it and i have also put a supercharger on it it doesn't take that long to swap they have the exact same motor mounts
