FS: Halo "Covenant" themed controller with "Black Spartan" Figurine

Halo 3 themed controller titled "Covenant" with exclusive Todd McFarlane figurine.
Figurine is un-painted except for visor portion. Clearly a collector's item for the Halo enthusiast.

Brand New Sealed.

Looking to get 100 bucks Firm. If no one wants it for that price then I guess I'll hold onto it for collecter's sake

I might be mistaken.. but these controllers are $69.99 -$79.99 correct?

I saw it on Future Shop's shelves as of yesterday for ~$70 plus tax I think... Whatever it was, it was for sure not $100!

Please save the scalping for ebay and not here. :thumbsdow

Cool did you guys see that the character was painted green or was it black?

Clearly somebody at the factory forgot to paint the figurine or purposely didn't to make it special.

Because mine is not like that. I deem it more valuable and therefore request the higher price.

As for the scalping statement. This isn't an event ticket so I guess I can charge what I feel is appropriate.


Congratulations too ppl who are able to observe the fact that the controller is on sale at other places, but you failed in life to see the difference between the ones you saw at the store and the one I am selling.

The guy who painted the controller purposely doesn't paint some fo them so they are more than the others.

The fact that you got an unpainted charactor with your controller the resale value of this package is worth more than if i bought it in the store?
Im sorry i guess i dont see your logic.
Shouldnt the value be less because of the lack of green paint/mistake in the factory?

I'm not saying his price is rigt or that it being unpainted is actually a mistake.

BUT

Generally speaking, when it comes to collector items anything with a mistake is rare and more valuable. Ie. A miss print on a stamp is a stamp collectors wet dream.

That is NOT an unpainted figure. A quick research and I found the product shots of this at a toy show. It's black by design from production just like the green ones.

But he is right about selling at whatever price he wants over retail. So Halo fans, go ahead and pay $30 extra for something that you can get at any store.

And you are right. This unit has been painted.... on the visor area. I'm sure it was made of molded plastic, black plastic or they put an under layer of black paint on it so it will be easier to add the green armor over it.

Either way, it is an incomplete product of limited out put and if anyone feels it is worth an extra 30 bucks compared to retail then they should snap it up. It does save time via driving down to you local gaming store and rummaging through bins of controllers trying to find another one like it.
