ok beyonders, heres the problem.
ive had my car for sale several times.
ive posted on buysell.com,beyond.ca, and many other sites.
ive gotten calls but no one has ever came to check it out.
i really believe the price is more than fair. ive posted pics and listed everything on the car.
any suggestions as to where to post, what to post and such would be great. thank you.

Link to beyond.ca thread?

There are only a few reason why a car won't sell:

Price is too high (common)
Car is badly modded
No demand
Seasonal car

Pay to advertise. Autotrader.ca is your best friend. Hate to break something to you but not all the people in the world know or have heard of beyond.ca and buysell.com lol.

X2 for autotrader.

My last car was purchased, and resold on autotrader. It was actually sold to the first person who came and looked, which meant the pricing was good (maybe even low).

But there are 2 main benefits to the autotrader over virtually any other publication:
1) - price comparison! You can EASILY search for similar vehicles online, and gauge your pricing to match what the market is going for. Since my last car had 300,000kms+, I priced it about 1K lower than what most of the other cars were advertised for, and it got noticed.
2) - target audience! Places like Beyond don't JUST bring in car buyers. Sure, tons of traffic, but how much of that is potential buyers? People don't pick up the autotrader unless they're thinking about buying.

Spend the $60 or whatever, make sure that your pricing is accurate (not what YOU think the car's worth, make sure it matches what the rest of the world thinks it's worth), and I'm sure you'll have no troubles.

Don't be the typical beyond douchebag and not actually answer any questions about your car or reply with vague generalities that don't mean anything.

My last car sold on Facebook of all places.

Usedcalgary.com and Craiglist are full of scammers and lowballers.

can't see a price? also a bit high kms for the year

Kilometers are too high for the year, aim for around 8500-9000 or so

KM seem a little high for a 2001, was it mostly highway driven? Other than that looks OK, what was your original price, maybe it was just a bit high:dunno:

Edit: Im too slow hahah

I find that no matter where you advertise, if you lower the price enough it will sell.

I echo Weapon_R - I'd say $9k obo for the car considering it's condition. The stereo most likely isn't adding to the value of your car so if you parted it out, you could make some money back there.

160,000 kms is not that high. Remember guys this car was probably bought in late 2000 thats 7 years @ 20-25k kms /year is just about there.

8,500-9,000 sounds about right.
Autotrader.ca is very high priced but sometimes works.

Try adding the price to the ad, plus the fact that you would consider a trade for a S13. Post a lot of pictures-no one wants to wait on pics to be e-mailed. Show the good and bad.

I agree with everyone else here, while 160k might not be too high, you have a ton of integra's on the market, aim for 9-10 and you should sell.

By stating that you want to get a "S13" you sound like a ricer and people assume the car is bagged.

+1 for autotrader

although i have never sold a car on there, it will problaby get the most exposer through them.

9,000 is more than reasonable, esspecially considering the year. I sold a 1992 325IS for more than that and it had the same amount of KMS

Really what you should consider when posting on sites, esspecially on beyond is to have a good description of your car, plenty of pictures, and respond to people as soon as possible. Also it doesn't hurt to let potential buyers know of any issues or imperfections the car has.

The presentation is what really interests people when looking into a car, i have delt with people that didn't seem too motivated to selling their car or they were slow to respond to emails and phone calls, and i just decided to look somewhere else.

Goodluck

10,000! Also try craigslist.org but it kinda sucks for calgary since limited amount of people go on.
