Is this xbox repairable?

My buddies xbox 360's cd rom is busted. Do you guys know anywhere i could get a cd rom and pop it in? Or where i could get it fixed?

dvd drive and mobo are linked via key. Can't just swap it out unless you do a key update to the drive which requies hooking up the drive to the PC and flashing the firmwre on it with new key (which has to be extracted from your old busted drive)

It's not worth the hasle. Call ms and get em to repair it
